Why do we need sponsorship?

The Reading University mixed hockey club is currently given a budget by Reading University Students' Union (RUSU) for the basic operating costs of the club. This includes pitch hire, umpires and travel and we are of course very grateful for this.

However, in order to expand the club and its membership base we would like to organise mixed hockey tournaments at Reading University for other clubs in the area and father afield. It requires capital to set up these tournaments and the students union cannot currently stretch the budget to cater for such events.We would also like to offer our members discounts for purchasing kit with club branding and general hockey equipment.

Therefore if you can offer the club some sponsorship, whether this is in the form of discounts or capital we would very much like to hear from you.



What can we offer for sponsoring us?

Should you choose to sponsor our club you will get a direct benefit thanks to the advertising space that we can offer. We can give you prime position on this website and offer space on our match shirts as well.

This websites traffic includes many new students, our current members and our alumni (graduated members). Members of other hockey teams also periodically check this site and the public also find us through Google searching. 

​

All of our members, supporters, alumni and members from our opposition could be also viewing your companies message on our match shirts at every game we play. In addition we are happy to actively promote your company to other clubs on campus should you offer us sponsorship.



As a club if we manage to get enough capital to set up a mixed hockey tournament we are willing to have a stall to offer/promote your wares and any company banners you can provide at the event.
