11th July 2014 - Yateley Tour Weekend!

As ever an amazing weekend with a huge turn out from both current memebers and old boys. Highlights had to be Tour Court led by Steve Flower ablely assisted by Keith Noble, also the current members only scoring two goals all weekend one using a lacrosse stick. Thanks all for a great weekend.  Just under a year till the next one.

 

10th November 2013 - Legendary Old Boys Weekend!

This weekend we held our termly old boys weekend in which the alumni of mixed hockey come back and play a match against the current members of the club. It was a glorious day and a great match. Sadly the current members were found wanting with a 3-0 win to the old boys. This included an amazing goal by Mr Jonathan Bromley in which he lobbed our keeper on the reverse stick. He will shortly be added to the hall of fame for this moment. It was great to see the old members again, share and swap stories and generally catch up. We hope to see them all again for the match next term.

 

21st October 2013 - New Members & A Win 

We have managed to gain a host of new members this year at Reading University Mixed Hockey Club and we thank you for all of your interest. This means that we can potentially expand as a club, so watch this space. As well as all this interest we managed to secure a win against Writtle on the weekend with the score ending in a 3 - 1 win for Reading. This places us slightly ahead thanks to goal difference) at the top of the league. Congratulations to all that played!
